Using raising readers Books: 2011 Maine Early Literacy Calendar

The 2011 Maine Early Literacy Calendar is a collaboration with Maine Roads to Quality (MRTQ), which again features the books raising readers will give to Maine children at birth and well child visits throughout the year.

MRTQ staff developed information on each title that can support child care providers, or parents, in effectively using each book with their children. Each book used in the program is selected to be age- and developmentally-appropriate for children at specific ages.
