Since 2000, raising readers books have reached over 155,000 individual Maine children! Additionally, healthcare providers have distributed almost 1.25 million books to Maine children, ages birth to five years, at well-child visits.
All of this would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of hundreds of healthcare providers throughout the State of Maine, who take time to remind parents and caregivers about the importance of reading aloud to children from infancy and how it helps their young brains grow and develop.
