This book is an excellent resource for those interested in international children's literature–books originally published for children in a country other than the United States, and later published in this country. The bulk of this book is an annotated bibliography of books from Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and the far North, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Multinational books and Geography Series books. An overview of international children's literature, listings of children's book awards, organizatons, publishers and sources for foreign-language and bilingual books are included as well.
