SAVE THE DATE! Annual Book Celebration Join us for an evening celebrating all the great books given to children through raising readers in 2008. Families will get to meet the authors and illustrators whose books appeared in the anthology given to Maine 5-year-olds. Melissa Sweet, Cathryn Falwell, John & Anne Hassett, and Lisa Jahn-Clough will read from their books and be available to sign their books. A treasure hunt using the books' characters will be held throughout the museum. While you are there, don't forget to visit the raising readers Book Nook , a quiet, cozy place at the Children's Museum of Maine where children and caregivers can share a good book.
