When Mama Llama tucks her in for the night and leaves the room, Baby Llama suddenly starts to get nervous and so bellows, hollers, and screams for her return in this lively picture book with simple text.
Why raising readers Has Selected This Book
The Selection Committee chose this title because of the bold, bright illustrations and the wonderful rhyme in the text. The story reflects a feeling universal to toddlers–impatience. The committee found elements of the story that both a child and parent or caregiver could relate to.

    1 Reader Review:

We LOVE Llama Llama in our house! My daughter even has a Llama Llama doll. All of the books are great at expressing how Llama feels so it is very easy for children to relate to. The rhyming words flow very easily and the story always ends with Mama Llama being reassuring and loving.
