    Description
(Distributed by raising readers at the 4 months visit from March 2009 - May 2010)
Candid photographs capture all kinds of babies with their many different smiles in a small, sturdy board book that promises giggles to babies who like to look at other babies.
Why raising readers Has Selected This Book
We always try to include a book of baby faces in the collection. This book of almost life-sized baby faces got high marks for the many different smiling faces.
    Questions
You can use books with pictures of babies to talk with your child about different emotions. For example, "Is that baby laughing? Yes, she is happy. Is that baby smiling? Yes, that baby is happy."
    Activities
Your baby may reach for the pictures in the book. Let him touch the pages no matter how dirty his fingers can get. Touching the pages is one of your baby's ways of interacting with the book. Any interaction will help babies feel a connection with the book. Connections with books and the reading of books are very healthy for a baby's growing brain.
